Abstract

Abstract A reusable catalytic system was developed for the catalytic enantioselective borohydride reduction of ketones. The optically active 1-chlorovinylketoiminatocobalt(III) complexes were recovered after the reaction by silica gel column chromatography, and then efficiently catalyzed the enantioselective reduction several times without any loss of reactivity as well as enantioselectivity.
