Abstract

Return flax of copper and zinc particles in the erosion plasma being formed during the laser ablation of multicomponent alloys is investigated. Two mechanisms of the return flux are considered: collisions of atoms and ions and a return wave due to the effect of interaction between the plasma and powerful pulse laser radiation. The second mechanism provides an increased return flux compared to the first one.
