Abstract
The article focuses on the justification of health care as a global problem of humanity. The retrospective analysis of the relationship between philosophy and medicine in the civilizational history of mankind is revealed. On the factual material the development of health care through the fight against diseases, epidemics, pandemics is noted. The essence of COVID-19 is explained as a geo-, bio-, social quantum, negatively influencing all spheres of human activity. The need for the unity of the medical minds of the planet to develop a strategy for humanity’s survival in the face of a coronavirus pandemic trial is emphasized.
