Abstract

Objectives To investigate the surgical technique and clinical effect of retroperitoneal laparoscopic ureteroplasty in retrocaval ureter cases.Methods 9 cases were performed with transecting and repositioning the ureter to the inferior vena cava by retroperitoneal laparoscopic techniques.Results All 9 cases were successful without diverting.Mean operation time was 65 min(range from 42mL to 125min).Mean blood loss was 62 mL(range from 20mL to 115mL).No postoperative urine leakage was occurred.No ureter stenosis was found in follow-up (mean time 9 month) by sonography and IVU.Conclusions Key words: Ureter; Vens Cava, Inferior; Surgical Procedures, Laparoscopic
