Abstract

Objectives To investigate operating highlights and clinical value of retroperitoneal laparoscopic partial nephrectomy in the treatment of renal tumors by thulium laser. Methods Ten cases of renal tumors received retroperitoneal laparoscopic partial nephrectomy by thulium laser, the tumor’s diameter was (3.1±0.7)cm, located on one side or protruded from the surface of the kidney. Results The operations were performed successfully, with the operation time (105.14±19.63)min, the blood loss(112.63±20.21)mL, no intraoperative blood transfusion occurred. No postoperative bleeding and urine leakage occurred. Conclusions Retroperitoneal laparoscopic partial nephrectomy in the treatment of renal tumors by thulium laser might be safe and effective, with low blood loss, less damage and quick recovery and so on.
