RETROPERITONEAL GIANT CYSTIC LYMPHANGIOMA-A CASE REPORT-

Abstract

A case of giant retroperitoneal cysti lymphangioma is reported. The patient was a 20-year-old woman who had developed abdominal distention at the age of 14 years, and she has had an increasing feeling of abdominal oppression and vomiting. Abdominal ultrasonogram and computed tomogramshowed a giant cystic tumor that com prossed the intestine on the left side. Laparotomy revealed a giant retroperitoneal cystic lymphangioma that occupied almost the whole abdomen, 32×25×10cm in size with slight yellow serous fluid, and that adhered to the hilium of the right kidney and adrenal gland. Histopathological findings confirmed cystic lymphangioma.
