Abstract

Objective To investigate the new method of " retreat and push" in double-J sent insertion during retroperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy. Methods From March 2015 to March 2017, 42 cases of upper ureteral calculi were performed retroperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy, retreat and push technique technique in double-J sent insertion were adopted during operations, the experiences of placement and the data of postoperation were summarized. Results The processes of double-J sent insertion were completed in (1.81±0.71)min(from 1 to 4 min), and the positions were showed normal in KUB after operations. The catheters were removed 4-6 days after operation and drainage tubes one day later, while the double-J sents were pulled out 1 to 2 months after operation. No cases of infection or leakage of urine were found. Conclusions Retreat and push technique is simple, fast and effective in retroperitoneal laparoscopic ureterolithotomy.
