The above article, first published on Wiley Online Library (www.wileyonlinelibrary.com) on 17 February 2010, and in Volume 82, pp. 556–561, has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the Editor of the journal, Shou-Jiang (SJ) Gao, and Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The retraction is made at the request of the Ethics Committee of the National Sanatorium Oku-Komyo-En. The retraction results from withdrawal of approval by the Ethics Committee as a result of the use of histological and histochemical evaluation of archived fetal autopsied specimens.
