Retraction: "Effects of microRNA-129 and its target gene c-Fos on proliferation and apoptosis of hippocampal neurons in rats with epilepsy via the MAPK signaling pathway," by Dong-Mei Wu, Yu-Tong Zhang, Jun Lu, Yuan-Lin Zheng, J Cell Physiol. 2018; 6632-6643: The above article, published online on 30 November 2017 in Wiley Online Library (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jcp.26297) has been retracted by agreement between the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Gregg Fields, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. Several flaws and inconsistencies between results presented and experimental methods described were found. The editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
