Abstract
AbstractRetraction: The following article from Journal of Neuroscience Research, ‘Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor in Cerebral Ischemia,’ by Yihui Ma, Yan Qu, and Zhou Fei, published online on April 5, 2011 in Wiley Online Library (onlinelibrary.wiley.com), has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor in Chief, Jean de Vellis and Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The retraction has been agreed due to overlap with ‘Implications of vascular endothelial growth factor for postischemic neurovascular remodeling,’ by Dirk Matthias Hermann and Anil Zechariah, appearing in Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow & Metabolism, 2009, 29:1620–1643 without proper credit having been given to the original article.
