Abstract
Retraction: The following article from Meteorological Applications, ‘Estimation of monthly mean solar radiation from air temperature in combination with other routinely observed meteorological data in Yangtze River Basin in China’ by Ji-Long Chen and Guo-Sheng Li, published online on 16 March 2012 in Wiley Online Library (http://wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal Editor in Chief, Peter Burt, and John Wiley & Sons Ltd. The retraction has been agreed due to problems with the quality of solar radiation data on which the model described in the article is based. As a result the authors feel that the relevant analysis and conclusion within the article are erroneous. Reference Chen J-L, Li G-S. 2012.
