Summary
There appear to be vertical discontinuities in the background after lanes 1, 2, and 3 in the eIF4E S209 panel, and after lane 3 in the ERK1/2 T202/Y204 panel of Figure 2E. In the ERK1/2 T202/Y204 blot of Figure 3A, lanes 1, 3, and 8 appear similar and lanes 2 and 7 appear similar.
