Abstract

The above article, published online on 15 October 2008 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the journal's Editor-in-Chief Andrew J. Lawrence, the International Society for Neurochemistry and John Wiley & Sons Ltd. The retraction has been agreed due to identification of image manipulation in Figure 4a, showing duplications of the '27-OHC' and '24-OHC + 27-OHC' bands within the TH lane. The corresponding author and their institution failed to provide the original data upon request. As a result, the data and conclusions of the article are considered unreliable.
