Retraction: Caloric Restriction Reverses Obesity-Induced Mammary Gland Inflammation in Mice.

Abstract

This article (1) has been retracted at the request of the authors. Following a review by Weill Cornell Medicine (New York, NY), evidence of data falsification or fabrication was found in a figure prepared by K. Subbaramaiah. Suspicious duplications of 3 bands within the image were found in Fig. 3. A copy of this Retraction Notice was sent to the last known e-mail addresses for the 11 authors. Seven authors (P. Bhardwaj, X.K. Zhou, D.J. Falcone, C.A. Hudis, L. Kopelovich, K. Subbaramaiah, and A.J. Dannenberg) agreed to the retraction; four authors (B. Du, E. Sue, M.D. Harbus and D. Giri) did not respond. The authors apologize to the scientific community and deeply regret any inconveniences or challenges resulting from the publication and subsequent retraction of this article.
