The retraction has been agreed upon since the abstract was submitted and approved for publication by Briana D. Risk without authorization and consent from the other co‐authors: Elliot L. Graham, Mingue Zhang, Yuren Wei, Grace Stark, Gaby Brown, Christopher L. Gentile, and Tiffany L. Weir. In addition, the authors asked to retract this article as they found that the strain of bacteria listed in the abstract (Bacillus subtilis DE111) is incorrect. Strain NRRL B‐67989 was used. The author apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
