Abstract

Impact of viscous dissipation and radiation on MHD free convective mass transfer of an incompressible, viscous fluid flow through a stretching surface is examined. By applying similarity variables, the governing non-linear PDE's are converted into nonlinear ODEs. Keller-Box approach gets numerical solutions to these equations. The effect of non-dimensional variables is studied and graphically illustrated on velocity, temperature, and concentration. It is observed that the growth in the chemical reaction parameter, Schmidt number, Eckert number, Radiation, and Magnetic parameter (M) surges the temperature profiles, while the increase in the chemical reaction parameter, Magnetic parameter (M), and Schmidt number diminishes the Velocity profile. The friction factor, Nusselt, and Sherwood numbers are also investigated and arranged for different values of chemical reaction, magnetic field, and Schmidt number in tabular form. The findings of this study are very well-acknowledged with current research.
