Abstract

In the current study, via using the mixed-ligand synthesis method, a novel Cu(II)-based coordination polymer with the chemical formula of [Cu(L)(D-CAM)(H 2 O)] n ( 1 ) has been completed in success via Cu(NO 3 ) 2 ·3H 2 O reacting with the (1 R ,3 S )-1,2,2-trimethylcyclopentane-1,3-dicarboxylic acid (D-H 2 CAM) in existence of N-donor co-ligand 3,6-bis(benzimidazol-1-yl)pyridazine. We discovered this treatment application value regarding of infection after ureteroscopic lithotripsy along with corresponding mechanism in the interim. At first, enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was conducted and inflammatory cytokines content like interleukin-1 β (IL-1β) and tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) released into the plasma after the compound treatment was measured. Besides, we adopted real time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) determination and degrees of bacterial growth-linked gene expression were determined as well. • A novel Cu(II)-based coordination polymer was prepared. • Its crystal structure was also obtained. • Its bioactivity on infection was studied.
