Abstract

Titania nanotubes can be synthesized by a electrochemical anodization technique in different electrolytes on various titanium based materials. The parameters which determine the morphology of nanotubes formation are applied voltage, type of electrolyte, time and temperature. However, much efforts are not reported on the effect of titanium alloy composition which deals with the process of formation of nanotubes. In the current paper, we examined the effect of titanium alloy composition on anodization to produce Titania nanotubes and established that even titanium alloy composition is also an important factor along with other parameters.
