Retracted: Predictive analysis and Dataviz: An advanced solution for the analysis of big data case study: A visual predictive model of train delays

Abstract

We live in a period of punctuality and rush hours which is a very important criterion nowadays. Two minutes of delay can generate serious problems to thousands of travelers. For that, the operators of rail transport must invest in new technologies in order to offer more comfortable and easier services for train’s users. With big data, now as it’s possible, we can already calculate the time of train’s path , anticipate delays ,breakdowns in advance ,offering predictive maintenance and new schedules in an interactive way using predictive analysis algorithms and advanced technics of visualization. In this article, we present a literature review of the main bricks of a visual predictive model which predict train delays in advance, in order to give a general idea on our contribution and different modules, namely Predictive analysis ,Dataviz and Big Data.
