Abstract

A novel metal-organic framework, namely, [Mn(tib)2(HCOO)2]-2H2O (1, tib = 1,3,5-tri(1H-imidazol-1-yl)benzene) is prepared under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by the elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. A green-hand grinding technique is implemented to reduce the particle size of 1 to generate nanoscale particles (denoted as nano-1 hereafter). The effect of treatment of peri-implantitis diseases with nano-1 is evaluated.
