Abstract

We, the Editors and Publisher of the journal Ironmaking & Steelmaking, have retracted the following article: Xiao-li Tian & Jie Guo (2022) Effect of interrupted cooling time on microstructure transformation and hardness of Ti–V–Mo composite microalloyed steel, Ironmaking & Steelmaking, DOI: 10.1080/03019233.2022.2049585 Since publication, concerns have been raised by the authors about the integrity of the data in the article. The authors checked their data and confirmed there are fundamental errors present. Therefore, they have agreed to the retraction of this article. Additionally, there is significant text overlap and re-use of all figures and tables without permission from the following article:Xiao-Li Tian & Jie Guo, Effect of Isothermal Cooling Time on Microstructure Transformation and Hardness of a Ti-V-Mo Microalloyed Steel. Transactions of the Indian Institute of Metals 75, 1711–1719 (2022). Link: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12666-021-02498-x Additionally, there is text overlap with the following article: Yu Yinjun, Zhao Shiyu, Zhang Ke, Li Zhaodong, Chen Zihao, Zhang Qing, Wang Xinzhi and Qian Jianqing, Effect of isothermal cooling time on microstructure transformation and hardness of a Ti-V-Mo microalloyed steel. Heat Treatment of Metals, 2021, 46(6): 95–101. We have been informed in our decision-making by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retractions. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.
