Abstract

Human interactions are aiming to build a good social relations. Study of interpersonal pragmatic rhetoric in the use of directive speech acts in conversation lecturers and current students Final consultation can be done by looking at the conversation as verbal communication activity in social interaction. The purpose of this research was to describe (1) the function of rhetoric interpersonal pragmatics (RIP) lecture and students, (2) forms of interpersonal rhetoric pragmatic lecture and students, and (3) strategy interpersonal rhetoric and pragmatic lecture and students. This research data is the speech lecture directive. Subjects of this study consisted of the supervisor Final Project in Indonusa Politechnic of Surakarta and ten students who are preparing Final Project. The method used in this study is seen, involved, and the conversation, which is used to find the data associated with the function, form, and interpersonal rhetoric pragmatic strategy. Data analysis was performed through three stages: (1) data reduction, (2) presentation of data, and (3) conclusion drawing and verification.
