Abstract
Chromatic aberration in the eye causes differences in the retinal spot size for different wavelengths of light. This work explores the limiting effect of retinal spot size for wavelengths around 590nm, and implements python code to attempt to explain the lower limit of spot size via the beam quality factor. This inclusion is insufficient to explain the discrepancy, and further research into scattering effects is proposed.
