Abstract

Political leaders, intellectuals and citizens have a moral obliga ion to re-evaluate and rethink political relationships in order to assist modern complex polities that face seemingly insurmountable challenges. The precarious political situations, not only in the Near and Middle East and the Balkans, but in Western liberal democracies such as Spain, Great Britain, Belgium, France and Canada, stand as effective reminders to these challenges.
