Abstract
Li-birnessite is accompanied with Mn vacancies and structural disorder via traditional chemical synthesis method. A structure reinforced Li-birnessite has been developed by electrochemical conversion method. Reinforced birnessite with both high Li content and structural ordering retards layered-to-spinel phase transition.
