Abstract

This contribution reviews some of the results on jets from the UA1 experiment at the CERN SPS p \( {\bar p} \) collider. The results presented are based on data taking corresponding to an integrated luminosity LT ≃ 120nb −1 at √s = 546GeV during 1982–1983 and data taking corresponding to an integrated luminosity LT ≃ 600nb −1 at √s= 630GeV during 1984 – 1985. In addition interesting results were obtained from the 1985 ramping run in which the energy of the SPS was ramped continuously over a range of energies √s = 200 − 900GeV at lower luminosities, LT ≃ 5µb −1.KeywordsFragmentation FunctionQuark Fragmentation FunctionGluon Structure FunctionMinijet ProductionThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
