Abstract
The article describes the results of an experimental and theoretical estimation of the pressure characteristics of the network of the plant for the production of grain molasses with a centrifugal pump 1SM 65-50-160/2-m. Measuring equipment and conditions for obtaining hydraulic characteristics are presented. For accelerated heating of water to 30C, a cavitator in the form of a cone with petals is proposed. The operating point of the pump has been defined.
