Abstract
This paper examines the analysis of the preferences of passenger flows in the city for public transport networks. The main transport systems (structures) that are used in transport networks of public transport in various cities of the world are considered. Their advantages and disadvantages are determined. Possible options for the movement of passenger flows in the public transport system are calculated based on the algorithm for calculating the shortest route of movement proposed by the author. The algorithm is simple and doesn't use real-time data. The main stages of the operation of such algorithm are considered. The calculation of the distance between points in the conditions of the globe is presented. The movement of passengers in the transport network is analyzed to describe the preferences of passengers for various tariff systems. The results of simulation modeling of the influence of the tariff on passenger flows are analyzed. The choice of a route by a randomly chosen passenger is considered as a problem of minimizing the generalized cost of travel.
