Abstract

The article presents the results of research on the working conditions and safety of drivers of vehicles in the agro-industrial complex. Attention is paid to the number of victims in production by type of economic activity. It is noted that about 65 % of accidents in agriculture are caused by tractor drivers and car drivers. The share of transport accidents that occur for tractor drivers is up to half of the total number of accidents. In this regard, an in-depth analysis of the system "driver-car-road–environment" is carried out, which allows us to obtain General functional dependencies of outcomes on the main components of transport processes in relation to the leading link of the system-the driver. Attention is paid to its properties of timely response to circumstances that affect the possibility of occurrence and prevention of accidents. There is an imperfection in the design of vehicles and tractors that perform transport work, in terms of equipping them with safety locks and automatic machines that duplicate the actions of operators who perform contrary to the requirements of traffic rules and safety requirements.
