Abstract

Results of modernization of vacuum-evaporator systems used in the production of wet-process evaporated phosphoric acid by the company Voskresenskie Mineral’nye Udobreniya are analyzed. It is demonstrated that a twofold reduction in the amount of deposits that form on the heat-exchange surfaces of the systems is achieved, and their productivity is increased by 70–110% with respect to evaporated acid, and by 25–50% with respect to evaporated water owing to the measures that are taken.
