Abstract

Objective: It is a prevalent approach in ZIFT to transfer increased number of zygotes mainly due to lack of morphological sound criteria for quality sorting. Postponing the tubal transfer from the stage of zygotes to the stage of embryos will allow embryo selection based on well established criteria. As a result a reduced number of embryos may be transferred thus lowering the risk of multiple pregnancies. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of delayed tubal transfer on pregnancy and implantation rate in patients with repeated implantation failure in IVF.
