Abstract

Background The article discusses the results of the intensification of the inflow at Urengoy oil and gas condensate field. It is shown that the most successful method of inflow intensification is hydraulic fracturing. During the further exploitation of the field, the hydraulic fracturing will be the main effective method of intensifying the gas condensate wells inflow. Aims and Objectives To assess the methods of inflow intensification used at Urengoy oil and gas condensate field. Results The analysis of the applied methods of inflow intensification at Urengoy field has been performed. The most frequently used methods of stimulation of inflow are considered. It was established that the main effective method of intensifying inflow of gas condensate wells at Urengoy field in the near future (within 2-3 years) will be hydraulic fracturing, including through delayed development technology use. Nevertheless, it is necessary to note that the situation largely depends on the effectiveness of the geophysical and hydrochemical control system and qualified geological and technical solutions.
