Abstract

This article provides materials for the restoration and enhancement of degraded, low-yielding, and seasonally limited pastures, as well as an analysis of techniques for collecting seeds from desert-pasture forage plants. The primary objective of the study is to minimize seed losses during mechanized harvesting of desert fodder plants by enhancing the separation process from the crushed mass. Experimental tests have demonstrated that it is feasible to achieve the desired seed heap by positioning the reflector at an angle of 10-20° relative to the vertical. The results of experimental studies indicate that installing the reflector at an angle of 10-20° to the vertical allows for the acquisition of a seed heap at the required level.
