Abstract
In this article, the authors present the audiological description of cochleovestibular disorders against the background of arterial hypertension and the analysis of examination results. According to world statistics, more than 460 million people worldwide had hearing loss in 2019, and by 2050, their number may exceed 900 million. According to a number of foreign authors, complaints characteristic of cochleovestibular disorders (CVD) make up about 10% of patients who consult an ENT doctor, and for a general practitioner, this figure is 5%, and for a neurologist, 10-20%. Dizziness is one of the three most common complaints presented by patients to their general practitioner, occurring in 2.4-2.6% of patients during emergency consultations.
