Abstract
A.I. Bliskunov is a world-famous scientist, Honored Inventor of Ukraine and the USSR, laureate of the UN World Intellectual Property Organization Prize, V.K. Seminsky, the founder of a new direction in traumatology and orthopedics - controlled distraction using fully implantable devices. But few people know that one of his first inventions belongs to the field of surgical vertebrology.
