Abstract
Abstract Backround: The presence of foreign intrauterine bodies is a rare finding in the investigation of secondary infertility. Case: The case of a 32-year-old woman with a 4-year history of secondary infertility. in which remains of fetal bone were found, and how extraction of these bones restored the patient's fertility, are discussed. Results: Removal of the retained bone fragments ended the patient's abdominal pain and polymenorrhea. She became pregnant 3 months after the hysteroscopy. Conclusions: Although the retention of fetal bone is an infrequent cause of infertility, it should be taken into account, to facilitate the possibility of easy resolution of the problem through outpatient procedures such as transvaginal ultrasound and hysteroscopy.
