Abstract
Background: The clinical practice of restless legs syndrome (RLS) has dramatically developed in Japan since the first drug for RLS was approved in 2010. While some patients become able to manage their symptoms non-pharmacologically at some point in time, others need continuing pharmacological treatments for many years.
