Abstract
Having a history of childhood maltreatment (CM) often places individuals at risk of developing mood disorders (MDx), such as depression. However, not all of those who experienced CM develop a disorder. Building off the comprehensive meta-analysis and review by Moreno-Lopez and colleagues (2020), we used resting-state connectivity to identify differences between individuals with a history of CM and those with and without a history of MDx.
