Abstract
The understanding of resurrection is central to the Christian faith. Making such faith relevant today is an attribute and primary mission of any theologian. Andres Torres Queiruga as a Christian theologian has reconsidered the issue of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, marking its dynamism and hope. Rethinking the resurrection of Jesus Christ means interact with the fi rst Christian community and to bring forth a revelatory and salvifi c presence of God in human history. Understanding the resurrection of Jesus Christ means to know that what happened to him in a full, happened to all mankind and continues to happen with all dead. This refl ection aims to present the understanding of the concept of resurrection of Jesus Christ conceived by Andres Queiruga theologically in order to reconstruct the concept and establish dialogue with Christians, with contemporary culture and with non-Christian religions.
