Prescription of Schedule II Medications is regulated in the United States by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) of the Department of Justice (DOJ). The DEA web site names 27 “cases against doctors” in 2013 in which there was “…arrest and prosecution of the registrant.” relating to aberrant opioid prescribing ⇓.
