Abstract

On tuesday, 21st March, the Prime Minister announced the Government's intention to establish a Department of Technical Co‐operation to co‐ordinate the work of helping overseas countries with trained manpower, special equipment and so on. The new Department will take over the present responsibilities in the field of technical assistance of the three overseas departments — the Foreign Office, the Commonwealth Relations Office and the Colonial Office.
