Abstract
This letter to the editor is the response to critism of the author of The Valdez Air Health Study. The objective of the study was to evaluate the health risk to Valdez residents resulting from the inhalation of volatile organic hydrocarbons and to assess the portion of that risk attributable to emissions of the Valdez Marine Terminal. Scientific issues, risk analysis issues and process issues are all addressed. 4 refs.
