Abstract

Estimates of heritabilities and of genetic, phenotypic and environmental correlations are presented for the South Australian strong-wool Merino sheep. Separate estimates are calculated for the male and female progeny for each of the two flocks selected by different methods in the Roseworthy clean fleece weight selection experiment. Inspection of these estimates demonstrates that differences have ' arisen between the two flocks. _________________ * Part III, Aust. J. Biol. Sci., 31: 667 (1978).
