Abstract

Purpose/Objective: Even though chemo radiation has become the standard of care in the management of cancer cervix, majority of cancer cervix stage IIIB patients are still treated with radiotherapy alone in developing countries like India due to poor tolerance to chemo radiation and financial constraints of patients. This retrospective analysis was done to evaluate the prognostic significance of response to external beam radiation (EBRT) in predicting the clinical outcomes in stage IIIB cancer cervix and to find out factors affecting response to EBRT.
