Abstract

Two strains of mice, CF#I (passive) and CFW (aggressive), were subjected to variations in cage size and population for 14 days. Then Ss were sacrificed and blood plasma analysed for corticosterone, a hormone known to increase during periods of stress. CFW mice showed a significant difference in hormone level between groups while CF#I Ss did not.
