Abstract
White-failed deer welfare and production under various intensities of continuous-use grazing by combined cattle, sheep, and angora goats was studied in the Edwards Plateau region of Texas. Under poor range conditions continuous grazing by combined classes of livestock adversely effected deer production through competition for food. Livestock were more efficient competitors for native forage than deer.
