Abstract

When compared to the Whittam trap, the Leggett trap was highly selective for capturing Anthonomus grandis Boheman and accounted for 58% of the total insects captured when baited with grandlure. No other insect responded to grandlure. Traps painted Saturn Yellow were attractive to several other groups of insects.
