Abstract

We appreciate the letter from Adeoye et al1 on our recent publication2 about the PASS (Prehospital Acute Stroke Severity) scale for identification of large-vessel occlusion (LVO). We fully agree that it is a limitation that no scales apart from the RACE (Rapid Arterial Occlusion Evaluation Scale)3 have been tested in a prehospital setting among patients with suspected stroke.
