Abstract

In this study, titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanotubes were grown using an electrochemical method, and different annealing conditions were tested for the structural surface properties. La0.8Sr0.2Co0.5Ni0.5O3 (LSCNO) perovskite film was prepared by the sol-gel process. TiO2 nanotubes and LSCNO perovskite film were combined to form a PN-type heterojunction structure for use in a carbon monoxide (CO) sensor. The experimental results showed that the TiO2/LSCNO heterojunction structure had a PN junction rectifier and makes a better CO sensor at 200 °C for a 400 ppm CO concentration. The response of the CO sensors was 38.41%, with good recovery and reproducibility.
