Abstract
This study aimed to determine the effect of biofertilizers from bamboo shoots and nitrogen (N) fertilizer on the growth and production of lowland rice (Oryza sativa L.). The study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 factors. The first factor is biofertilizer with 3 levels : R1 = 20 ml/l water/plot, R2 = 30 ml/l water/plot, R3 = 40 ml/l water/plot. The second factor is N fertilizer (Urea) with 3 levels : U1 = 20g/plot (100kg/ha), U2 = 30g/plot (150kg/ha), U3 = 40g/plot (200kg/ha). The result showed that the biofertilizer treatment from bamboo shoots had a significant effect on the grain weight per hill, weight of filled grain per hill and grain dry weight per hill. Fertilizer N significantly affected the grain yield per hill and grain dry weight per hill. The interaction between bamboo shoots biofertilizer and N fertilizer had no significant effect on all observation parameters.
